The Museo Reina Sofía Library and Documentation Centre, in collaboration with PhotoBook Club Madrid, organise this year’s edition of Harvest, an annual public encounter which presents photobook mock-ups and is open to creatives of every stripe.

Photobooks have now become one of the biggest vehicles of expression for contemporary photographic creation, with Harvest 2024 an encounter which looks to gauge and share current activity in this field.

Devising a mock-up is a key stage in creating a book-work since it is the point at which the materials, design and sequence of images are put together and the tactile qualities of the work are explored. In short, it is the stage at which decisions are made over the physical object and its capacity to communicate.

Harvest 2024 sets out to debate and reflect upon the editing and production of photobooks, inviting anyone immersed in the lay-out stage of a project to share their photographic work with the other participants.
