Bachelor’s Degree in Art
The Bachelor’s Degree in Art organised by UOC, in collaboration with the Museo Reina Sofía, sets out from an expanded notion of Fine Arts which extends beyond the traditional limits of artistic practice, with the growing demand in advanced societies for an intervention of the imagination, creativity, and the capacity for expression in highly divergent social and professional spheres calling and allowing for new training proposals.
This online degree aims to respond to new challenges of contemporary creation and to train professionals to gain the capacity to develop diverse artistic practices situated in specific social and cultural contexts and in a way that is both informed and critical.
Students can freely choose their subjects of study and the UOC website includes the recommended semester structure for the course. However, checking with a personal tutor is advised to strike a balance between available study time and personal and professional situations.
